My comment to your query is that this is probably the better way of handling what you do everyday since you're planning on staying in the mountains like me. I have enough customer's here in our mountains to keep me busy so I drive about 100 miles a day 5 days a week, but I don't kill myself either. I enjoy looking at the mountains everyday also. Planned obsolescence has become the new rule. As an old component level tech I understand your frustration. Just don't give up the site.
